Snowbirds will help kick off motorcycle festival June 30 - Telegraph-Journal
The Canadian Forces Snowbirds, Canada's air demonstration team, will fly past shortly after noon to help open the fifth annual Atlanticade Motorcycle Festival, which is coming to Charlotte County for the first time.
On June 26 the Snowbirds will perform an air show at Charlo, which is close enough for a nine-aircraft formation to fly over St. Andrews four days later, Snowbirds public affairs officer Capt. Marc Velasco explained in a telephone interview Wednesday.
St. Andrews will get the same treatment as, for example, the Grey Cup, Canadian National Exhibition or Canada Day on Parliament Hill, he said.
"It's something we're doing for the community because we're in the area."
