USAF Thunderbird Takes Home Town Hero for Flight from Alabama Aviator - Aviation News - MONTGOMERY AL- A Montgomery-area teacher was honored with a U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds flight as part of its Hometown Hero program today. Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Maxwell Air Force Base "Thunder Over Alabama" weekend airshow brought the Thunderbirds to town.
