Red, white and blue ripped through the skies Thursday as the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds practiced their latest maneuvers in preparation for ABC Supply Southern Wisconsin AirFEST 2010.The festival will be held today through Sunday at the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport off Hwy. 51, 1716 W. Airport Road, between Beloit and Janesville. It will be the only civilian show in North America to host two jet teams — the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and the Canadian Forces Snowbirds. The U.S. Army Golden Knights and the incredible Tin Stix also will be performing.The Thunderbirds, rolling into their 57th season, represent the nearly 700,000 active duty Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve and civilian airmen serving around the world. The team strives to tell its story to people at home and abroad....
