They are the Blades Aerobatic Team - the only full-time civilian formation display team in the UK. The weekend of 19th & 20th June saw displays on both days at a very rainy Margate. It was the first full weekend of public displays for the Red Arrows this year. The photos are from the Saturday except for the Diamond Nine, which was a looping break to land at Manston on Sunday…

The Blue Angels' appearance at the St. Cloud Regional Airport (STC) will be the centerpiece of the inaugural "Great Minnesota Air Show." The air show will also feature regional and national aviation performers as well as exhibits and vendors on the airport grounds. Some of the nation’s best air show performers are from Minnesota and have committed to appear in St. Cloud.

The Blue Angels will be joined by a stellar group of performers for the Blue Thunder Air Show, July 24-25.The performers include Matt Younkin, Kyle and Amanda Franklin and USAF F-16 Viper East Coast Demonstration Team.Two of the dare devils to also make the list are local favorites, MiG Fury Fighters out of Driggs, Idaho, and Greg Poe from Meridian, Idaho.Matt Younkin learned to fly at age 14 and now flies more than 50 different types of planes. He takes after his father, the legendary air show pilot Bobby Younkin.Kyle and Amanda Franklin keep flying in the family as well. Kyle is the son of famous pilot Jimmy Franklin. Kyle’s wife Amanda is also the younger sister of Younkin.
The Patriots, based in Bryon in East Contra Costa County, will utilize four of these jets in the show on Sunday of NASCAR weekend. You can catch their electrifying 25-minute show in the skies above the raceway at 10:30 a.m.

Before any of them take to the air, a team of more than 130 enlisted Airmen in 25 different career fields ensure each of the six demonstration fighters are maintained and ready.
One of Osan's own Airmen will become part of that team, when she reports to Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., home of the Thunderbirds, in December.

The Canadian Forces Snowbirds, Canada's air demonstration team, will fly past shortly after noon to help open the fifth annual Atlanticade Motorcycle Festival, which is coming to Charlotte County for the first time.
On June 26 the Snowbirds will perform an air show at Charlo, which is close enough for a nine-aircraft formation to fly over St. Andrews four days later, Snowbirds public affairs officer Capt. Marc Velasco explained in a telephone interview Wednesday.
St. Andrews will get the same treatment as, for example, the Grey Cup, Canadian National Exhibition or Canada Day on Parliament Hill, he said.
"It's something we're doing for the community because we're in the area."
Jerry Jacobson waited months to ride with the Blue Angels. On Wednesday, he was told he’d have to wait a little while longer.
Jacobson was one of three area people chosen to ride with Blue Angel No. 7 Wednesday. But because clouds had settled in, Chippewa Valley Air Show co-chair Lonnie Kolar was the only one who got to ride. Jacobson had to wait until this morning.
“I’m nervous, and the experience that I am looking forward to is some of the loops and hanging upside down,” said Jacobson, president of the Chippewa Valley Council of the Boy Scouts of America and Northwestern Bank. ...
